Spring Fair 2010

Day 2 has drawn to an end and we had another fantastic day, I will sleep tonight thats for sure.

What A First Day

What a first day to the Spring Fair at Birmingham, totally amazed that we managed to have it all finished in time. I must say that both Christian and I are extremely tired and just as equally pleased as to the finished result. We have met so many stores new and existing and been over whelmed by the support yet again from all that drop by, thank you x.
Our stand number is Hall 3 T33


Here are a few photos from the Lesser & Pavey stand that have licensed some of my designs, a very impressive collection of gifts and stationery. If you are visiting the show you can find these in Hall 4 at the end of row 'L' .

End of day 3

We worked so hard today and managed to finish all the construction so Christian and I will be making yet another trip up to Birmingham tomorrow to dress the stand. Meet Paul, left in bottom photo, it was his first experience of a trade show build with us and he was a whizz at putting up the lights and helping finishing the floor. Paul joined us a couple of weeks ago and is heading up the retail and marketing side of Cavania which has not really been developed so is a very exciting prospect.

Spring Fair 2010

We have been busy making and painting props for the Spring Fair trade show which starts this weekend. Tuesday and Wednesday was spent building the walls and floor and things took a little longer then we wanted so back again on Thursday to hopefully finish all the painting and if I am lucky I might be able to dress the stand too!

The french doors and the wooden box were in my neighbors skip and when I saw them popping out of the top I just knew a perfect new life for them. So after removing the pitted glass in the french doors and the door furniture, a good sanding to remove the varnish and then they were ready for a coat of paint. This is a lovely handmade pine wooden box and in need of some TLC........
