New York

I have been away for the last week on a trip to New York to visit the National Gift Show, which was full of lovely things. We walked for miles around the city and up and down Fifth Avenue and to finish our trip off a couple of nights in the beautiful East Hamptons.
The Rockefeller Plaza in the summer filled with tables and chairs, in the winter this is an open air ice rink.
Here is Just one of the amazing window displays found all over the city. A wave of cupcake cases at Anthology, all the windows had a sea theme. They were doing their instore displays which they change with each season. In a matter of 24hrs the entire store was completely moved around and transformed, I ended up buying this silk green dress in the window.

The French historic bookstore Librarie de France.
The Boat House in Central Park is a great place to have lunch in the sun, over looking the lake with the city as an amazing backdrop. The food was fantastic and the service equally good.
Main Beach East Hampton is beautiful it stretches for miles edged with sand dunes and the most amazing houses.
The Hedges Inn was our guest house and was the best B&B I have ever stayed in, simply stunning. The website is www.thehedgesinn.com
