I Love London

Last weekend Christian and I decided to do a spot of market research and head into London for the day. And what a day we had going from store to store and gazing at the amazing window displays along the way.
The town houses just off High Street Kensington are scrumptious and with the streets lined with the blossom trees, they were simply perfect.
Rene Caovilla's windows had adorable puppies and of course their gorgeous shoes.Gucci in New Bond Street.and something for the boys.
I adore Laduree's packaging in fact this was the store that was the inspiration behind our Silhouettes range of greeting cards.
My favorite store ever is the prestigious Fortnum & Mason in Piccadilly, it's a step back in time store, established in 1707. Everything is so beautiful and their window displays are one of the best in the whole of London. We needed a tea break and so headed up stairs to 'The Parlour' for refreshments. WOW it was fabulous watching all the ice cream sundaes and cream teas being delivered around the room. The chocolate torte was divine and the cappuccino has miniature coffee ice cream cones on the side.

A gorgeous little dress in the window of 'Please Mum' in Knightsbridge.
Yummy cakes in a patisserie in Knightsbridge which would make lovely wedding cakes. I think I had a bit of a cake thing going on that day!Regents Street, nearing the end of a long day window shopping and time to get on the train to head home. I really do love London.
