Autumn Fair 2009

Hi All I have just got back from the show and we had an extremely busy first day, thank you all so much for popping by. Here are just a few pics of the stand I will take more of the stand exterior on Wednesday when I am next back up there. I have left Cavania in the very capable hands of Christian and all the agents so I can get into the office. Having two shows back to back certainly adds some pressure, the stand finally came together and we added the last finishing touches just this morning. It was the most complicated stand we had ever built and took three days in total.

Shed Update

We have spent a couple of days working on the shed as it was a bank holiday last weekend and I think I should really be calling it a summer house now instead of a shed. A door was hung which made such a difference to the appearance, just when I thought it couldn't get any cuter. Christian lined the interior whilst I was painting the ceiling white. With the ceiling dry it was now time for the tricky bit. I have never hung wallpaper before, Faye and I took our time but we did achieve it in the end.





We have had to down tool for the next couple of weeks because we have the two Autumn trade shows ahead of us. The windows are the next tricky step but we need to concentrate on them next as the weather looks like is has turned to Autumn. It rained all of yesterday and I really don't want to find the wallpaper in a soggy heap.

Stand Day 1

It's now 11pm and the boys have just returned from their mammoth day. I still have a few bits to do before bed so must dash. x

New Stand

I have just received a mobile phone picture text thing!!! The boys are at the NEC working hard on the new stand. I have been in the office all day answering the phones and posting catalogues. Tomorrow I get to go to the NEC Birmingham to paint the walls and dress the stand. It is quite exciting when we do something new, but oh boy what a headache and hard work for the past few days. My hands are so saw with cuts and scratches from handling all the wood.

Hand Made Jewellery

Some of our hand made jewellery, we have now about 60 pieces left over the four collections. Each one is limited to only 240, so once the design has gone it won't be repeated. The packaging is either a beautiful ribbon tied pink and chocolate box or an ivory pearlshine box with silver foiled butterflies. They do make for a beautiful present. We will be displaying all our Jewellery at the NEC this weekend. To register click here for the Autumn Fair, which is a trade show for stores only.
