Our Vintage Luggage

A picture of our vintage luggage storage boxes, I have treated myself to a few pieces and have them dotted through out the house. They are perfect for hiding odds and ends away and making a gorgeous display. They are made from wood with leather straps.

Research

Time for a clear out, I have so many issues of Vogue, Homes & Gardens and Elle that I really need to pop some into the recycle bin. But I won't be getting rid of any of my Vogues.
I have been to meetings this week and working in the office on stock control and my head is full of figures. I can't wait for Monday as I start a new range of cards. I hope the weather is good and we can do some more work on the shed, have a lovely weekend all. xxx

Wild- Joondalup

Whilst we were in Australia in April we dropped into a store that stocks our cards 'Wild'. They had so many goodies stacked in every available space, it was a real treat to spend time in there. The staff were so lovely and extremely helpful you could tell they all enjoyed working together. Wild is in the Joondalup Shopping Centre, Perth Western Australia. Wild.

It's a wrap

Cavania takes a complete gift approach to their wrap. With all Cavania Wrap there is a matching tag and greeting card, on many designs there is even associated gift albums and boxes. This complimenting approach increases the up sell on each item and also allows for the creation of stunning displays. Using only 100 gsm uncoated paper the range has an opulent feel and the designs themselves all invoke a feeling of a bygone era. All wrap can be viewed on the Cavania website at www.cavania.com or one of the Cavania team can call in person, please phone them on 01895 824899 for more information.

Drift Wood Heart

I made a drift wood heart when I was at my parents in April, they live next to the beach at Selsey in Sussex. We went beach combing and this was the end result. Christian hung it on the chimney breast this weekend, now I can look at it and think of my Mum & Dads.

A busy week

Pedlars Gold is a stockists of ours and we couldn't visit Swaffham without dropping in and saying hello. Pedlars Gold

Friday night we dashed up to Swaffham in Norfolk for my friend Kelli's birthday and we had a lovely chinesse meal. We met Kelli and Dave a year and a half ago whilst on holiday in Mauritius. After a couple of days chatting on the beach they asked Christian and I to be the witnesses at their wedding. We have remained great friends ever since, it is quite strange how random things can change life paths and how you meet special people that you know will remain friends for the rest of your life.

Tuesday we finished 600 special wedding invites all destined for a very large wedding Quatar. Every available surface in my house was covered with glittering butterflies.

Day 3 - Building the shed

Today has been a very slow day although the back wall is now up and half clad the roof has taken so long to get our heads around the angles. Lets hope the weather hold for now as all the junk that was in the old shed is sitting in the middle of the lawn. Maybe tomorrow we will have a roof!
